Emma Knight-Hill / Eliza DeLite
Emma Knight-Hill is a multidisciplinary artist better known under her stage name Eliza DeLite. She is an internationally acclaimed burlesque artist with a background in fine art, photographic and video work.
In 2020, she was recognised by Arts Council England, with a grant for her project The Serpent’s Shadow, a large scale theatrical burlesque performance that went on to tour with international stage production Party Like Gatsby in 2022/2023.
She was awarded the highest grade in the UK in 2004 for her Art GNVQ studies. Her fine art, film and photography qualifications also include an A* GCSE in Fine Art (2004), A-levels in Photography, Dance & Film Studies from Queen Mary’s College, Basingstoke (2006), a Distinction in Art Foundation from the School of Art & Design, University of Wales Newport (2007), and a BA(hons) in Photography & Video Production – graduating in 2010 from DeMontfort University, Leicester.
In 2021, during lockdown, Emma / Eliza began shooting a series of self portraiture within her home and reigniting her passion for stylised portrait photography.
Now, after pursuing a vibrant and successful 15 year career in burlesque, she is bringing her formal art & photographic training right to the forefront with the launch of Studio DeLite.
